Environmental Policy
At AIL, we understand that our operations have a profound impact on the environment. As a leading manufacturer in the plastic bag industry, we are committed to shaping a sustainable future through responsible practices that prioritize environmental conservation and minimize our ecological footprint.

Reduce Plastic
We aim to reduce plastic consumption by designing products that balance quality with responsible material use and include as much recycled material as possible without affecting the products integrity. Our products are designed to be thinner and so use less material but with the same performance as a thicker product. We have also reduced our packaging and changed to paper labels or boxes wherever possible, so they are easily recyclable.

Recycled Material
We are continuously exploring new innovations in the industry and have a range of products for the environmentally conscious consumer such as biodegradable and 100% recycled products with all our products made from a minimum of 30% recycled materials.

Post-Consumer Waste
Many of the recycled material we use comes from post-consumer waste – these are materials collected from used consumer items that are sorted, cleaned and processed to create new products, reducing the need for virgin resources. Recycling post-consumer materials conserves resources, saves energy, reduces waste, lowers greenhouse gas emissions, and minimizes pollution. Incorporating these materials into manufacturing promotes a circular economy and sustainability.
